Dan’s story

Dan grew up locally in the Lehigh Valley and aspired to pursue a career in the helping professions. He graduated from Centenary University with a BA in Criminal Justice in 2007. His early career was spent working with delinquent youth in residential settings.

He began practicing psychotherapy in 2010 working with individuals with problematic sexual behavior in foster care as well as outpatient therapy. He graduated from Chestnut Hill College in 2010 with a Master’s Degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology. He is currently a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. 

Dan has extensive experience working with individuals who have Intellectual and Developmental Disorder with special emphasis on problematic sexual behavior. In addition, Dan is well-versed in mental health treatment and psychological assessment. 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Dan’s therapeutic approach

Dan believes that the therapeutic relationship is instrumental in treatment outcomes, with an emphasis on a holistic, trauma-informed approach to individual health and wellness. 

Dan has certifications in Intensive Systems Therapy and Behavior Supports. With 12 years of experience in risk assessment and treatment of sexual and domestic abusers, Dan assists and supports clients as they reintegrate into the community with an emphasis on community safety, rehabilitation, recidivism risk management, and structured clinical judgment.
