Court-Ordered Counseling

Lighthouse Therapy and Forensic Specialists (LTFS) uses expertise in specialized counseling services to treat violent and sexual abusers. LTFS employs an integrative counseling approach with goals of community safety, reintegration, and rehabilitation.  LTFS provides both group and individual therapy services as well as comprehensive risk assessment and psychological assessment.

Counseling for sexual abusers

LTFS uses a trauma-informed cognitive therapeutic approach with an emphasis on accountability and recidivism risk reduction in the community. Evidence-based treatment specific to sexual abusers is incorporated into treatment approaches and curricula.

 
 
 
 
 
 

Counseling for domestic violence

The LTFS program for domestic abusers is a 16-week curriculum incorporating research-based psychoeducation modules in conjunction with trauma-informed cognitive behavioral therapy. Emphasis is focused on themes of power and control, anger and stress management, interpersonal relationship skills, and reframing gender role stereotypes.
